About Donoven
Donoven Gomez is never at rest. With influences like Shawn Mendes, Charlie Puth, and The Chainsmokers, Gomez produces Christian-adjacent pop music. His journey with music began at an early age when he was five years old, learning to play the piano. He picked up a guitar at eight and started producing music at sixteen. Gomez began by making every song completely by himself: his songwriting, recording, production, even mixing and mastering is still all done from his small bedroom studio. In recent years, Donoven has been battling epilepsy and a jaw surgery that has taken away his ability to sing. But that can’t stop his artistry—he continues to innovate and create music even in the face of an impossible situation. After releases like Creation to Eternity, Tropical, Lost in Wonder, and Everything Will Be Alright, his newest project San Francisco is finally out.
Donoven’s music has garnered a significant following on both Spotify and Apple Music, with his all-time streams on Spotify exceeding 127,000 and over 10,000 streams on Apple Music. He has also made his mark on the live music scene, performing in over 20 concerts and touring with Phil Wickham for his Christmas Tour as a part of the small worship choir. In addition to his successes in the music industry, Donoven has been featured in two music videos and has been presented with exceptional opportunities for growth and learning during his time at California Baptist University.
